On the 11th of Aug. shortly before midnight a man was in the process of withdrawing cash from an ATM at a bank on Main St.
Another male entered the same cubicle and produced a knife and demanded money of the 1st man.
The victim resisted and fought back receiving a cut to his hand. The attacker was knocked to the ground and a passing police vehicle with Cst. Jason Long was flagged down to make the arrest.
Joshua HARRINGTON 25 years old of Champlain St. is charged with Robbery, Breach of Probation and 4 counts of Breach of Recognizance. He was kept in custody for a bail hearing.

On the 10th of Aug. shortly after 9 PM two men approached a male victim in a mall parking lot on Algonquin Av.
At this time of the men produced what appeared to be a pistol and demanded cash of another man. This was given when the victim noticed that the weapon did not appear genuine and a struggle ensued. The victim was beaten about the head with the fake weapon and the two attackers fled.
The next evening on the 11th of Aug. at 7:35PM and 10:30 PM investigating officer Det. Cst. Steve Trahan assisted by Csts. Northrup, Kerr and Boissonneault of the North Bay Police attended two residences within the city and arrested two males in relation to this incident.
A 17 year old male youth is charged with Robbery, Disguise With Intent, and Breach of Probation. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
Deavon MORRIS 19 years old of Lansdowne Av. in North Bay is charged with Robbery and Breach of Probation. He is to attend court on the 18th of Sept.
