Nipissing West OPP have charged an 89-year-old man with impaired driving after a traffic stop Tuesday, just before midnight.
Police conducted a traffic stop on Levesque Street, West Nipissing.
The driver was arrested for impaired driving, and then taken to the OPP detachment for further testing.
Armand Breault, 89, from West Nipissing, is charged with, "operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus) and operation while impaired."
Breault was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on June 6 in North Bay.
The driver was issued a 90-day Administrative Driver's Licence Suspension and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
