4th Annual Street Hockey Tournament Set To Go

Once again local eatery East Side Mario’s on Lakeshore Drive is set to turn their parking lot into a hockey rink for the 4th annual Easter Seal Society’s Power Play 4on 4 ball hockey tournament.

Today former NHL pro Bill Houlder and Darren Turcotte were on hand to launch the event as well as giving the East Side Mario staff a run for their money.

If last year’s success is any indication of the popularity of the event the Easter Seal Society is anxious to match or beat last year’s numbers taking in the opportunity to play the street version of Canada’s national pastime.

The tournament will go Sunday, September 24th at East Side Mario’s at 11:00 a.m.
