Considering Trudeau will only allow us to grow four, 300 seems a bit of a stretch.
But that's what OPP officers found in a Mattawa home earlier this month.
OPP reported today that on April 6, at 1 p.m. members of the North East Region Community Street Crime Unit, North Bay Detachment Crime Unit and the North East Region Emergency Response Team raided a Park Street home in Mattawa.
During the search, over 300 marijuana plants, grow equipment, ammunition and a firearm were seized.
As a result of the investigation, 27 year old Bruce McCue, and 29 year old Rebecca Doan, both from Mattawa, are charged with:
- Produce schedule II substance, Cannabis Marijuana
- Possession of a schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking under 3 kilograms - Cannabis Marijuana
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Careless storage of a firearm
Both scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Mattawa on May 10.
