$20,000 Cocaine Drug Bust

On Wednesday September 13th, 2006, members of Project “Northern Gateway “ (a joint investigation between members of the Ontario Provincial Police and North Bay Police service) conducted an investigation, which resulted in a search warrant being executed at a Thelma Avenue residence, in the city of North Bay. Officers entered the home on the authority of a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant. OPP and North Bay officers entered without incident and seized of a quantity of powder Cocaine, Crack Cocaine and Crack Cocaine conversion lab. Five (5) persons were arrested at the scene and all of the individuals have been charged with drug related offences. The potential street value of the seized drugs is Twenty thousand dollars.
