18 new COVID-19 cases reported

That brings the total number of active cases in the region to 28 in Nipissing and 5 active cases in Parry Sound

The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit is reporting 18 new COVID-19 cases in the district. 

The Health Unit released the numbers shortly after 4 p.m. today and shortly after Dr. Jim Chirico, the chief medical officer of health, addressed the Stay-At-Home order that was extended for three regions including North Bay-Parry Sound.  

No details have been released on the new cases on the COVID-19 case page at publication time. 

That brings the total number of active cases in the region to 28 in Nipissing and 5 active cases in Parry Sound.  

The total number of COVID-19 cases moves to 257 including two deaths.
