What will it take for this guy to learn a lesson?
Mattawa OPP reports that on Sunday night, around 11:20 p.m., an officer was on general patrol on Highway 17 in Calvin Township.
The officer saw a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and radar confirmed the speed at 175 km/h in a posted 90 km/h zone. The officer stopped the vehicle and also found the driver to have consumed alcohol before driving.
Izaiic Telford-Behm, 20, of Pembroke, was charged with the following:
- Stunt Driving and
- Novice Driver - B.A.C. above zero
Not only that, the same novice driver was ticketed for driving a vehicle at a high rate of speed in the same location just 11 days ago, on November 1, 2017.
Telford-Behm was issued a three-day driver's licence suspension for a blood alcohol content in the warn range, and another seven-day driver's licence suspension for stunt driving.
His vehicle was also impounded for 7 days.
He was released on a Provincial Offence Summons with a date to attend Provincial Offences court of December 8.
