The North Bay Regional Health Centre is getting $1.3 million in one-time funding from the Province to reduce wait times.

“Our local emergency departments and healthcare professionals go above and beyond each day to attend to the needs of patients,” said MPP Vic Fedeli.

NBRHC President Paul Heinrich says the money will allow the Health Centre to further address the sustained pressures and capacity issues facing its Emergency Department. “It will improve our ability to maintain stable access to, and more efficient emergency services for our community.”
