Perrin Ahmad LLP, one of the largest law firms in northern Ontario has announced that Daniel Baker, a long-standing associate with the firm has now become the newest partner.
He will be taking over the position of Managing Partner from Dawood Ahmad.
Baker grew up in Ottawa, where he graduated from Carleton University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Law. He attended law school at the University of Ottawa, where he focused his studies and his professional work in criminal law.
Daniel has been with the firm since articling in 2014.
"Since then, he has prided himself on adding a human element to the criminal justice system that can be frightening and confusing to those who find themselves involved in it. He remains committed to helping the firm's clients come out of that system as unscathed as possible and looks forward to doing this in his new role," says a news release.
