Letter: Respect disabled parking spots

It seems there are not enough law enforcement people to issue charges in parking lots

To the editor:

I would like to appeal to all citizens of North Bay to be on an honour system when parking.

A disabled parking spot does not mean you can sit in your car and wait for someone to come out of a store. Or worse, they park in a handicapped spot.

I have a disability so I park in this spot. However, if my family drops me off, they park within sight of the store door and drive up to pick me up.

My friend has a very handicapped child who loves to visit the mall. If there is no spot available he is deprived of his visit.

It seems there are not enough law enforcement people to issue charges in parking lots.

I have always thought of my fellow citizens as considerate. Please allow me to continue to view North Bay in this light.
