Dear Editor:
I read the article that talked about the downtown Christmas Walk.
I was thoroughly confused as to when your paper started writing about other cities. I was at our Downtown Christmas Walk in North Bay and what I witnessed was very different from what was written about.
There were no free hot chocolate, no free cookies, and no Christmas Carols, well other than the gentleman playing the bongos.
What I saw was stores taking an opportunity for heavy traffic. Some booths outside of stores. Yes, there was some cider offered for free. That was my first time at the Christmas Walk.
I was hoping for something more, especially after our wonderful review as a city on W5, but that’s another story …..
