To the editor:
In 1958, I was one of the first office clerks at the brand-new high school … Chippewa Secondary School, and I’ve always, always had a soft spot in my heart for the school and I’m sure over 60 years of students and teachers feel the same way.
That’s over 60 years of tradition and history. Why would you want to spoil the history and good times shared by those people for the sake of a very few people who feel offended? Once you give in to them, they will continue their quest (whatever it is!).
Please rethink your ideas and do not change the name of Chippewa Secondary School.
