To the editor:
As a new resident of North Bay, I have been delighted with the downtown core.
Beautiful floral displays,colourful murals, and painted utility boxes all delight the eye.
The highlight, for me, was the recent Block Party! Well organized and controlled, it was an end-of-summer treat for the thousands of visitors.

But, for me, the miracle was the complete cleanup by10 o’clock Sunday morning! The huge stage and equally huge bouncy castle were gone!
Expecting to see lots of refuse. there was virtually none! Cigarette butts and some scraps of paper were all that remained.
Congratulations, North Bay citizens…you obviously were respectful of the environment.
