To the editor:
Chippewa Secondary School should not be renamed. For the many reasons that have already been well expressed, I would like to add my name to the list of concerned parents and taxpayers to the list of opposed to the renaming.
There must be more important issues than this regarding the education of our children. I have literally not heard one rational argument to change the name, including the important voices of our friends at Nipissing First Nation.
Please consider the option to leave the name of Chippewa to the proud school and history that it has.
