Letter: I'm a trucker and I want more cops on the road

There are only a handful of drivers who respect the law

To the editor: 

I am driving as an owner/operator for Turk Enterprises based in St.Andrews, MB.

Safety on the road starts with every single driver.

Truck drivers and car drivers must follow the rules and regulations but there are only a handful of drivers who respect the law, and it's getting worse.

Reason number 1, there are not enough police on the road.

I am a 66-year-old truck driver with more than 40 years of experience and I want more police on the road...10 times more, day and night.
