Lou Marshall passed away on May 10, 2023, from Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) at the age of 75, surrounded by his family. Lou was born on May 30, 1947, in Timmins to Jack & Lucille. He grew up in Schumacher, earned his degree in Education, and taught Science for most of his career. He had many hobbies and interests. He loved the outdoors and spent his free time playing sports, hunting, fishing, camping, and snowmobiling. He was an avid woodworker and skilled craftsman. Lou was the life of the party, and always had a joke or story to share. He loved to entertain, play cards, host get-togethers and plan outings. He had a gift of bringing people together and making them feel welcome. He is survived by his wife Bonnie, son Rob (Dana), daughter Carley (Dave), brother Hugh (Paula), grandsons Ethan & Gavin, as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins. His laid-back personality and sense of adventure will always be remembered. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. A celebration of life was held in Alliston on May 12, 2023.
