North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation

Mission

Inspiring our communities to invest in their physical and mental health care needs.

Vision

Empowering our communities to contribute towards the best possible physical and mental health care, close to home.

The North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation raises funds to ensure that the North Bay Regional Health Centre can continue to expand hospital services, develop new programs, and bring leading-edge medical technology and treatment to the people of North Bay and regional communities. Through generous support from donors, the Foundation helps ensure that the best health care will always be within reach.

Our new health centre delivers the same high-quality of care in a state-of-the-art setting. The North Bay Regional Health Centre combines a modern acute care hospital with a specialized mental health facility.

NBRHC provides district acute care services to North Bay and surrounding communities, an area of 30,700 square kilometres with a population of more than 129,000. In addition, NBRHC provides specialized mental health services to all of northeast Ontario, with facilities in North Bay and Sudbury. People suffering from severe and persistent mental illness throughout the region of northeast Ontario are served by NBRHC – an area of 300,000 square kilometres with a population of 511,000.

Values

Fulfilling donor intent with the highest standards of accountability, transparency, gratitude and ethics.
