Health unit reports two new COVID-19 cases

Two new cases contracted through community spread

The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit is reporting two new COVID-19 cases in the North Bay-Parry Sound District in their update Wednesday. 

The 23rd case in the region is described as a male aged 20 to 39. He is in isolation and cause is listed as "community spread." 

Meantime, the 24th case in the region is described as a female aged 40 to 59. She is also in isolation and cause is listed as "community spread." 

Of all the cases so far this year, 18 have been in Nipissing and six in Parry Sound. 

The health unit reports it has conducted 5,517 tests with 24 confirmed cases, 18 resolved and one death.
