Leppert claims 2 gold for Titans

Rochelle Leppert led the way with 2 golds, 1 silver and 1 bronze medal at the Fred Rams Championship meet on May 1st and 2nd in Timmins. Leppert also placed in the top five in all her events. Kaitlyn Legris and Daniel Zhou each brought home 2 silver medals, and 8-year-old Leah Dawson brought home 2 bronze medals.

Other swimmers achieving personal best times were Alex Campbell, Myriam Faucher, Kristen Lazarou, Amy Niemela, Garrett Ryan and Megan Zhou.

Titans Swim at Team Champs in Brantford

A total of 30 swimmers from the North Bay Y Titans Swim Team represented North Bay in Brantford from April 16th to 18th.

Taking home medals were Ashley Duquette with 1 silver and 1 bronze for her 100 meter freestyle, Sydney Hughes with 2 bronze for her 100 meter backstroke, Jennifer Leckie with 1 silver and 1 bronze for her 100 meter breaststroke and Grace Liritzis with 1 silver for her 200 meter butterfly stroke.

Other Titan swimmers contributing to the successful weekend with many personal best times were Keltan Baran, Emily Bolan, Angelina Bolchakova-Racine, Aurora Buckley, Samantha Cowan, Michaela Crea, Nolan Desjardin, Myriam Faucher, Renee Gagnon, Max Giesler, Kristen Gough, Regan Jackson, Abbey Krajc, Rochelle Leppert, Emma Lodge, Kayley Niemela, Hutton Noth, Brittany Pask, Rayah Paterson-Jeanneault, Nicole Plumb, Jeremy Sallie, Max Sherry, Alyssa Stoppa, Noah Swain, Katherine Tripp, and Shelby Twilt.
