In the swamps of Northern Ontario a building sits rotting into the earth. Marshwood Institution for the Mentally Incapacitated is a relic from the 1920s that many believe to be haunted by those who used to roam its halls. This week in Second Saturday Stories readers will be trapped among the screams and scares. But don't worry, you'll have three teens in there with you. Clark Matthews, Merfey Davis, and Esther Sanderson are trapped inside too, but they chose to be there. What's even more bizarre is they decided to conduct a seance to communicate with the most violent occupant of Marshwood.
The Butcher of Oak Patch has become a famous ghost story around the campfire, and if they can prove her spirit lives on, then fame and accolades are certain to follow. The teens make contact with something using a spirit board, but is it The Butcher? or has something more sinister started playing with them?
