Advanced Qualification Salary Range: $52,804 - $58,671 - $64,539

Position Objective:
The Educational Systems Navigator will support and guide prospective students in Post-Secondary Education and Pathways Programs. This position will be the main point of contact for prospective students and support them daily as they move through the admissions journey, applying to one of the Post-Secondary Education and/or Pathways programs.

Qualifications:
• A minimum diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution in Business, Public Relations, or Administration.
• Minimum three years of office and administrative work experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Current CPR and First Aid
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office/Office 365 environment
Job Knowledge and Skills:
• Experience in working with a Student Information System is an asset.
• Possess high level customer service to a diverse population.
• Good organizational and time management skills, as well as proficiency in a variety of computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, internet search, and web applications are also required.
• Experience working with a Learning Management System is an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to a positive learning culture and facilitate the achievement of evidence-based nursing and applied to the learning environment.
• The role requires self-motivation, flexibility, and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills: ability to troubleshoot and resolve conflict, exercising tact, discretion, and sound judgment; ability to prioritize.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to cope under pressure associated with the management of numerous high-volume tasks in a busy service environment; high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly with applicants, students, faculty, and staff verbally and in writing.
• Ability to maintain professional and positive attitude when speaking with applicants, employees, and the public.
• Must have an appreciation of the Anishnabek culture, principles, values, language, history and customs; and be supportive of Anishinabek Practices, language revitalization and protocols.
• Must be willing to flex work schedule, at times, to meet students during their approved program scheduled timeslots (evenings/weekends).
