Parts Counter Attendant


Service Rentals & Sales is looking for a Service Desk Attendant/parts person.

Immediate opening for the right candidate.

Experience with lawn/garden and construction equipment is an asset but not a requirement.

Job Responsibilities:
-Determines/understands customer needs through questions and qualifications; provides suggestions to customers if applicable.
-Place orders for parts for customers as well as internal requirements.
-Maintain inventory levels.
-Search for spare parts, create Purchase Orders and send orders to Suppliers; Receive orders and contact the corresponding department when the pieces arrive.
-Support sales and marketing efforts by forwarding promotional opportunities.

Other duties may include storing and maintaining merchandise, loading and unloading equipment, dispatching, timekeeping, and/or performing basic equipment maintenance.

Qualifications
-Knowledge of construction equipment, small engines, and power tools is an asset
-Minimum experience of 1 to 2 years in customer service is an asset.
-Purchasing experience is an asset.
-Charismatic personality
-Team player
-Strong computer skills
-Able to take direction
-Possess a valid driver's license.
