A driver was charged with impaired driving after police conducted a traffic stop.
On April 18 shortly after 1:30 a.m., Nipissing West OPP conducted a traffic stop with a possible impaired driver on Main Street, Sturgeon Falls.
The driver was arrested for impaired driving, and then transported to the OPP detachment for further testing.
As a result of the investigation, Patrick Lafleur, 22, from West Nipissing, was charged with, operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus) and operation while impaired.
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on May 2 in North Bay.
The driver was issued a 90-day Administrative Driver's Licence Suspension and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
