STUDENT CHARGED WITH BOMB THREAT
On Sept. 28 during the early afternoon hours, the North Bay Police Service received information that a bomb threat had allegedly been called in to the West Ferris Day Care Centre located at Sunset Park School. It was further believed that the call was intended for West Ferris Secondary School.

PUBLIC WARNING
On the Sept. 27 a person called a convenience store in North Bay and advised that he would be late for his appointment as a computer technician, to that store.

Some time after he did arrive and commenced working on the store’s computer. While supposedly updating the computer he placed a 'memory stick' within it. He then left. A clerk on a different shift noticed this 'memory stick' and the North Bay Police Service were called. This stick would have had to be picked up at a later time in order to collect all of the credit card information that had been input.

The police service would like to caution the business public not to let anyone near their business computers unless they have specifically requested a technician to attend, and even then, they should confirm the company and identify the individual working on the computer.

This suspect is described as male, white, early 30s, 5’9, 140 lbs. with short blond straight hair, above the ears and gelled. He had blue eyes and wore a dress shirt with a blue plaid pattern and dress pants. He also carried papers, a cell phone on his belt and carried a CD as well as a picture ID tag attached to his shirt pocket.

His vehicle is described as having a Blazer look but much larger and black in colour.
