DOMESTIC STATS During the week of September 18th to 25th the North Bay Police responded to 24 domestic related occurrences that resulted in 4 men and 2 women being charged with a total of 18 offences.

During the week of September 18th to 25th the North Bay Police responded to 24 domestic related occurrences that resulted in 4 men and 2 women being charged with a total of 18 offences.

The charges against the males consisted of 6 counts of assault, 2 counts of breach of probation, threatening, forcible confinement, and criminal harassment. All 4 men were held in custody for bail hearings.

The charges against the females consisted of assault, 2 counts of breach of recognizance, and 4 counts of breach of probation. One woman was held for a bail hearing, the other was released with a court date.

TRAFFICKING
At 11:00pm on the 25th of September, patrol officers responding to a complaint stopped a vehicle with 3 occupants on Ferguson St. A search of the vehicle and the occupants located what is believed to be 69 grams of marijuana, 26 methamphetamine pills, 39 morphine pills, and 18 oxycodone pills. Andre Lavigne, 25yrs of Dubuc Rd Crystal Falls, Danny Lavoie 26yrs of Nipissing St. Sturgeon Falls and Chantelle Lavoie 20yrs of No Fixed Address is each charged with 4 counts of trafficking in illicit drugs.

THEFT OVER $5000
Between the 18th and 25th of September, the Shriner’s trailer parked on Brookes St was entered again and 3 more go-carts stolen. The replacement value is $1500-$1800 each. Cst Jim Kilroy is investigating.

BREAK AND ENTER
Between 2:30 and 4:30 on September 25th a residence on Water St was entered and 56 Percocet pills stolen. Cst Robin Boucher is investigating.
