Break and Enter Overnight on the 23rd and 24th Sept a restaurant in the 400 block of Lakeshore Dr was entered by smashing the glass in the rear entrance and bottles of alcohol taken. Cst Geoff Whittle is investigating.

Theft of Bike
Overnight on the 23rd and 24th Sept, a lime green Norco BMX bike was stolen from a King St residence in Callander. The bike had been chained to the front deck.

Autumn Litter Cleanup

Jointly hosted by the North Bay Police Service Environment Committee and Nipissing University
Date: Saturday 28 September 2013

All volunteers will meet at 2:00 pm outside of the Lucky 13 store, 555 McKeown Avenue, North Bay.

Time will count for volunteer hours.

Picker tools, work gloves, and garbage bags will be provided. Volunteers will then remove refuse in the nearby Thibeault Terrace neighbourhood and along McKeown Avenue between Gormanville Road and Algonquin Avenue, including the grass and tree covered areas between McKeown Avenue and Highway 17 West.

Miller Waste has donated two dumpsters for the collected litter. One will be located in the parking lot of One Kids Place, 400 McKeown Avenue; the second will be located in the parking lot of North Bay Toyota, 640 McKeown Avenue. The cleanup will conclude at 4:00 pm.

Any volunteer who brings a reusable travel mug will receive a free coffee and donut from the Tim Hortons located at 975 McKeown Avenue.

Nearly 100 post-secondary students have expressed their interest in helping out.
