North Bay man charged with Uttering Threats and Attempt Murder

At approximately 8:26 p.m. yesterday evening, North Bay Police were immediately dispatched to a North Bay residence following a 911 call regarding a domestic violence incident in progress. A man was reported to be physically attacking a woman.
As a result of the incident and a subsequent investigation, North Bay Police arrested and charged a 58-year old Caucasian man with one count of utter threats to cause death and one count of attempt murder. He was held in custody overnight awaiting a bail hearing today.
In the interest of protecting the identity of the victim, North Bay Police will not be releasing the name of the accused.
North Bay Police would like to thank the couple’s neighbour for assisting in this investigation.
