CAN’T READ SIGN On the 24th of March at approximately 2:30 AM it is alleged that a male driver struck a hydro pole on Main St. at Harriet St. in North Bay.

CAN’T READ SIGN

On the 24th of March at approximately 2:30 AM it is alleged that a male driver struck a hydro pole on Main St. at Harriet St. in North Bay. This particular pole had a large sign on it from the program Operation Lookout requesting drivers to “REPORT IMPAIRED DRIVERS----CALL 911” Cst. Seth Dinsmore of the North Bay Police attended the area and arrested a male suspect. A 23 year old man of Alexander Rd. in North Bay is charged with Impaired and Over 80. He is to attend court on the 20th of April.

LONG ARM OF THE LAW

On the 23rd of March during the evening hours the Ontario Provincial Police in Temiskaming Shores arrested a male suspect for the North Bay Police Service in New Liskeard. It is alleged that a male suspect was harassing a woman known to him and that he had previously assaulted her.
The suspect was transported to Marten River where Csts. Vince Corrente and Mark Knight of the North Bay Police took control of the prisoner.
Darren BELANGER 34 years old of Site 1 Road C in New Liskeard is charged with Assault and Criminal Harassment. He was kept in custody for a bail hearing.
