CAN’T CALL POLICE
On the 16th of March shortly before 11 PM it is alleged that a man and woman got into an argument within a North Bay home. At this time the male threw out a portable phone to prevent the female from calling Police. It is further alleged that he then began to assault the female until she managed to call Police from another phone.
Csts. Greg Randall and Mark Knight of our Service attended the scene and arrested the male suspect.
John Michael ECKNEIER 27 years old of 2nd Av. E. is charged with Assault, Threatening and Mischief. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
BREAK & ENTER
On the 16th of March at approximately 5 PM it is alleged that 4 males entered a dwelling on McNamara St. without being invited where several other people were staying.
These males then took a 42” television and a snowboard and then left the residence.
Cst. Chris Johnson of the North Bay Police continues the investigation.
