COPS FOR CANCER
Local policing and emergency agencies will be holding their bi-annual Cops and Emergency Services for Cancer head shaving event May 12 at the North Bay Mall.
Members of those participating agencies will be approaching the public for sponsorship in the very near future.
Two years ago over $40,000 was raised this way for the Cancer Society of Canada with half of the those funds remaining locally and the other half going towards research.
We will be advising our media friends on more details as we approach the deadline.
