ASSISTANCE REGARDING DOG BITE
The North Bay Police Service would like to request the assistance of the general public in locating the owner of a Rotweiller type dog.

On March 15 at approximately 8 PM an incident occurred where a woman accompanied by two young girls was walking her dog near the Rock Street outdoor skating rink. This dog broke free and bit a young boy who was playing hockey.

The investigator Cst. Jeff Warner of the North Bay Police Service would like to ascertain the health of the dog in question. This woman usually walks her dog on Clarence Street and Athlone Street on a regular basis. Any information should be called in to police at 497-5555.


ASSISTANCE REGARDING ASSAULT
The North Bay Police Service would also like to request the assistance from the public in locating a male who assaulted a young boy.

On March 15 at approximately 7 PM, a 12-year-old boy was playing hockey on the outdoor rink located at Laurentian playground. At this time he was allegedly approached by an adult male, who grabbed him by the throat, and punched him on the head and then threw him over the boards.

The victim received minor injuries and did not know this man.

The assailant is described as male white, in his 40s, salt and pepper hair, 5'9 to 6', slim build and wore a yellow snowmobile style jacket, a yellow/blue toque and tan gloves. Cst. Steve Trahan of the North Bay Police Service is investigating and can be reached at 497-5555.
