Theft and Assault
At 4:50pm 26th June a store security guard was shoved during the arrest of a man alleged to have shoplifted merchandise at Independent Grocers. Donald Valiquette 42yrs of Corbeil has been charged with theft under $5000 and assault. He has been held in custody for a bail hearing.
Mischief
Between 8:00 pm and 10:30 pm on 26th June the lifeguard stand located on the beach at the Cove was damaged when vandals removed it, and threw it into the water. Cst Dan Weber is investigating.
