Fraud and Theft over $5000

Suspicious cash transactions made at Nipissing University were brought to the attention of the North Bay Police Service on May 30, 2013, following the institution’s internal investigation and forensic audit. The suspect was an employee.

As a result of its own investigation, North Bay Police have charged Jennifer Gour, age 41, of Lakeshore Drive, North Bay with two counts of fraud over $5000, one count of theft over $5000, one count of falsifying books, one count of fraudulent concealment and one count of possession of property obtained by crime. She is to appear in court for a first appearance on Tuesday July 8, 2014.
