OUT OF CONTROL YOUTH On the 24th of July during the afternoon hours, Csts. Daniel Shepstone and Christopher Marshall of the North Bay Police received a call to attend a North Bay residence re. an unruly teenage male youth.

On the 24th of July during the afternoon hours, Csts. Daniel Shepstone and Christopher Marshall of the North Bay Police received a call to attend a North Bay residence re. an unruly teenage male youth.

It is alleged that this male threatened to cause death to his mother and also held a knife in the process. As the boy was leaving he damaged the home.

The officers immediately located him and arrested him.

He is charged with Weapons Dangerous, Threatening and Mischief Under $5000. and is to attend court on the 5th of Sept.

OFFICER SAVES WOMAN

On the 25th of July at approximately 3:40 AM Cst. Brad REAUME of the North Bay Police was on patrol when he spotted a woman standing at the top of the overpass by the railing. The officer thought this suspicious and stopped his vehicle. This woman then tried to jump over the railing but the officer managed to grab her before she did so.

She was brought to the hospital for psychiatric care.

THEFT OF BOAT

An aluminium boat that was left at the public access to Lake Nipissing at the end of Charland Dr. was stolen between the 18th and 24th of July.

This boat is described as 16’ long, unpainted on the outside and faded green on the inside with the seats painted blue. It also contained oars and two orange life jackets. It was approximately 15 to 20 years old.
