STOLEN TRUCK ARREST

On the 3rd of July, the uniform section of the North Bay Police Service with the Street Crime Unit, had occasion to see a stolen vehicle in the 600 block of McIntyre St. They set up observation and saw a man enter this vehicle. The officers effected an arrest without incident.

Tony Isaac 34 years old of McIntyre St. E. is charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000. and Possession of Cocaine (23 grams).

He was kept in custody for a bail hearing.


ATTEMPT BREAK & ENTER

Overnight on the 3rd of July would be thieves attempted to forcibly enter Burrows Garden Center on 3rd Av. W. via a garage door. Their attempt was unsuccessful.



During this same time period there was also an attempt to forcibly enter Ben’s Barber Shop on Main St. W. via a window with metal grates. This attempt was also unsuccessful.
