VEHICLES ENTERED

Overnight 0n the 6th and 7th Feb numerous vehicles were entered in the Ferris area.

Reports indicate that entries started in the Herman St area and progressed to Lee, Tecumseh, Knox, Joseph, Labreche, and Massey. There is no indication that any of the vehicles were locked. Items stolen include change, CD’s, cigarettes, gloves, Canadian tire money, lighters, a toque and other miscellaneous items usually left in vehicles.

Entry to parked vehicles particularly at residences is not usually forced because it attracts too much attention.

These types of thefts can be avoided by simply locking your vehicle.
