PIPE ATTACK On 30 Nov at 7:30 PM a man was flagged down at Lakeshore Dr and Judge Ave by a family friend. When the driver got out of his vehicle the man allegedly approached him carrying a metal pipe stating he was going to kill him.

On 30 Nov at 7:30 PM a man was flagged down at Lakeshore Dr and Judge Ave by a family friend. When the driver got out of his vehicle the man allegedly approached him carrying a metal pipe stating he was going to kill him. He swung the pipe at him, missed and struck the vehicle. The attacker fled prior to police arrival. Attempts to locate the man were negative. A warrant for his arrest has been requested. Cst Ashley St John is investigating.

PURCHASE GONE BAD
On 30 Nov at 1:35 PM a man who was a third party took exception to the purchase of a dump truck between two other men that had occurred a week earlier. He and the seller allegedly attended the compound of the buyer where the third party struck the buyers vehicle with a baseball bat. The buyer drove away but the third party pursued him ramming the vehicle from behind three times. The buyer stopped at which time the third party said he would get a gun and kill him then drove away. Robert Champagne 41yrs of Lakeshore Dr is charged with Willful Damage, Possession of a Weapon Dangerous, Uttering Threats and Dangerous Driving. He is to appear in court on 11Jan 2011. Cst Steve Trahan is investigating.

FIREARMS OFFENCES
On 30 Nov at 9:40 PM a man allegedly strapped on an ammunition belt with 12 rounds and a hunting knife on it. He then took his 12 gauge shotgun and began wandering the halls of an Ann St apartment building shouting obscenities. On one occasion he was observed yelling at one apartment pointing the shotgun at the door. The North Bay Police attended and arrested the subject. Subsequent to the arrest the man attempted to fight with the police. A search of his residence located several more firearms. Timothy Jacklin 44yrs of Ann St is charged with Pointing a Firearm, Careless Storage of a Firearm and Assault Police. He was held in custody for a bail hearing. Cst Christian Elia is investigating.
