COUNSELLING TO COMMIT MURDER
During a 3 week period bridging March and April it is alleged that a man counselled another man to join him in committing home invasions and killing 3 specific people, one of them being a child.

On the 17th Apr at 7:14 PM police officers arrested Simon Cohen 37yrs at his residence on Worthington St E. He has been charged with 3 counts of counselling to commit murder and breach of undertaking. He has been held in custody for a bail hearing. D/Cst Dave Wilson is investigating.

BREAK-IN FOILED
At 11:30 PM 17 Apr North Bay Police responded to a possible break in at a pharmacy on McKeown Av. Officers found a broken window, then observed a man running from the building. A 4 minute foot chase resulted in the man being arrested in possession of 5 pill bottles. Hubert Hunter 41 yrs of McNamara Av has been charged with break enter and theft. He was held in custody for a bail hearing. Cst Gerry martin is investigating.

ARSON
At 12:45 AM 18th Apr a gerry can of gas was placed under a truck that was parked in a lot on the 500 block of Wyld St. The gas was set on fire and the fire spread to a second vehicle in the same lot. Residents managed to put the fire out with a fire extinguisher. Cst Darcy Wall is investigating.

BREAK AND ENTER
Between 5:30 PM 16th Apr and 7:30 AM 17th Apr a construction company compound on Cholette St was entered. A fence was cut for entry, and then tool cases were removed from sea containers. A variety of power tools were taken. An estimated value is approximately $5000. Cst Bill Gainforth is investigating.
