Drug Arrests
On the 16th of Apr a North Bay Street Crime investigation concluded with a vehicle stop and a residence being searched. At 10:35 am a vehicle with two occupants was stopped and searched after leaving a residence on Champlain St. A duffle bag with 3 large bundles of money was seized. A man and a woman were subsequently arrested when they left the Champlain St residence. A search warrant executed at the residence located 532 gms of cocaine with a street value in excess of $66,000.00. The vehicle occupants identified as Marcus Griffith 26 yrs of Toronto and Kimberly Vincente 22 yrs of Woodbridge have been charged with trafficking, possession of proceeds of crime, and money laundering. Eric Weckworth 28yrs and Jessica Betts 22yrs both of Champlain St have been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking. All four persons have been held in custody for bail hearings.
