Police have arrested and charged two people, after a trespass complaint.
On January 7, at 11 p.m., Nipissing West OPP officers responded to a report of trespassers on a municipal property, on Main Street Markstay-Warren.
Police attended the scene and the security gate had been forced open. A vehicle with two occupants had been located and were arrested.
As a result of the investigation: Dayton LAJAMBLE, 26 years of age, and Sarah PILKEY, 34 years of age, both from West Nipissing were charged with:
- Theft under $5000
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
- Mischief - destroys or damages property
- Engage in prohibited activity on premises
Both accused were released from custody and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on February 1 in North Bay.
