Stolen Property
An advertisement on Kijiji of a computer for sale has resulted in the recovery of a computer reported stolen on the 4th of Sept. Nevin Emmanuel 25 years of Ski Club Rd was arrested on the 9th Sept. He was in possession of the computer and had a knife concealed on his person. He has been charged with possession of stolen property, carrying a concealed weapon and trafficking in property obtained by crime. He has been held in custody for a bail hearing. The North Bay Police Street Crime Unit investigated.

Pro-Active Cohabitation Project
Over the next week, North Bay Police will be conducting an educational survey exercise in the Thibeault Terrace subdivision. Officers will be going door to door surveying occupants and providing information on North Bay Bylaws that deal with overcrowding, parking, and noise. The police are taking a pro-active role to prevent and resolve neighbourhood conflicts that tie up police resources.
