Motor Vehicle Collisions At 8:54 a.m. 14th May a female senior was parking her vehicle in the parking lot on the south west corner of Main and John Sts.

At 8:54 a.m. 14th May a female senior was parking her vehicle in the parking lot on the south west corner of Main and John Sts. She stepped on the gas instead of the brake, lost control and the vehicle shot forward and went through the front of the business at 591 Main St E. The vehicle struck the desks in the front office but the employees were on training and were not present. The driver could not get out because of glass and was assisted by North Bay Fire Services. There were no injuries. Cst Greg Dix is investigating.

At 9:19 a.m. 14th May the North Bay Police prisoner van with 2 special constables and 8 prisoners was southbound on Cassells St and came into collision with a compact car that entered the intersection westbound on Sixth Ave. There was no damage to the van and minor damage to the compact vehicle. Sgt Andre Berube is continuing the investigation.

Robbery Update
