Aggravated Assault

On Mar 18th, 2013 police attended an apartment building on Trout Lake Road after a 911 call had been placed in relation to a stab wound to a 47 year old male. Once in the residence, police began an investigation and the male with the stab wound was arrested for forcible confinement and assault with a weapon on an elderly male. This accused was later charged with attempt murder, forcible confinement, aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault with a weapon, and assault with a weapon on a second elderly female victim residing in another apartment. The accused is known to both victims. All three persons were taken to hospital.

The accused has been remanded into custody. Next court appearance is scheduled 21 March, 2013.
