POLICE ADVISE CAUTION The North Bay Police Service would like to caution the general public and particularly caregivers with children, of the present danger involving waterways that are thawing early this year.

The North Bay Police Service would like to caution the general public and particularly caregivers with children, of the present danger involving waterways that are thawing early this year.
Caregivers should keep an eye on their charges and make sure that older ones are made aware of this danger.

ARSON

On the 16th of March sometime before 12:20 AM someone set a fire to a large hedge between two homes at the rear of the North Bay Mall.
Approximately 25 feet of a 10 feet high cedar hedge was fully engulfed in flames and was extinguished by the North Bay Fire Department.
A 23’ camper trailer also sustained damage during this time.

BREAK & ENTER

Between the 13th and 15th of March thieves forced their way into a home in the 500 block of McKeown Av. via the front door.
The thieves stole a 40” LCD TV, an X box game system as well as a Surround Sound system, 30 blue ray DVDs, 2 computers, 50 vinyl records, 2 DJ tower speakers, a record player, one mixer and various other electronic devices and video games with a total value of approximately $12,000.
During this time the thieves also caused damage to the home by smashing glass doors to a TV shelving unit, made multiple knife cuts to the couches, ripped banisters off the walls and cut a 2’ by 2’ piece from a carpet.
