MALE ASSAULTS AND ATTEMPTS TO STEAL FROM FEMALE CO-WORKER



At 9:45 PM, June 26, a male subject working the night shift at a grocery store on McKeown Avenue, in North Bay, sprayed his female co-worker in the face with a fire extinguisher then assaulted her, and told her he was going to steal her money from her bank account. He also threatened to steal cigarettes from the store. While forcing the female to her car to go to the bank, the victim broke free and called the Police. Cst. Vince Corrente and Fernando Cirullo of the North Bay Police located the accused at 2:10 in the morning and arrested him. Police have charged 38-year-old Donald Delisle of 791 Worthington Street East with Assault, Assault with a Weapon, and Robbery. He is being held for a bail hearing today.
