Missing Youth Located
The missing 13yr old boy missing from North Bay was located on Friday 22nd June in Sudbury. The North Bay Police wish to thank the media and the public for their assistance in this matter.

Assault with a Weapon Arrest
On May 24th a man attacked another with a 2 ½ ft piece of pipe. The victim was struck once in the leg and the assailant fled. The victim was taken to the hospital with minor injuries An arrest warrant for assault with a weapon was issued for Randy Turcotte, 42yrs of First Ave. On the 25th June at 8:42 pm he was located at his residence and the warrant was executed. He is to appear in court on 10th July 2012.

Robbery
At 10:40pm on the 25th June two young men were riding bikes in area of McIntyre St at Wyld St when a man yelled at them. One of them was grabbed by a group of men and struck several times in the face before he was able to get away. The group of men then left, taking the victims bike and hat.

The man who yelled at the victim is described as male, white, 18-19 yrs, with blue baggy pants and dark shirt. The others are all male, white, 17-24yrs wearing hats. The bike is a custom BMX with a We The People “phoenix frame painted dark green. It has United handle bars, purple pedals and purple grips. The value is in excess of $2000. Cst Vince Corrente is investigating.

Break and Enter
Overnight on the 24th and 25th of June, a fenced compound on Stanleys Rd was entered by cutting holes in the fence. Two containers were forcibly entered and reels of copper wire, ground wire and a Generack generator were stolen. Cst Steve Carleton is investigating.

Carjacking Update
The North Bay Police carjacking investigation has been concluded. Ryan Pinel Gaulin 28yrs of no fixed address has been charged in North Bay for kidnapping, utter threats to cause death or bodily harm, and 2 counts of robbery with a weapon. He is presently in the Sudbury Jail on offences in Sudbury. A request will be made to have him returned to North Bay to answer to our charges. Det/Cst Fernando Cirullo is investigating.
