ONTARIO WORKS FRAUD On the 12th of June, Det. Cst. Greg McClenaghan of the North Bay Police Service arrested a female in relation to an Ontario Works fraud that occurred between 2003 and 2005. The total loss is alleged to be over $28,000.

Andrea COLLINS 38 years old of Galt St. is charged with Fraud Over $5000. and is to appear in court on the 15th of Aug.

COUGAR SIGHTING?

The North Bay Police Service has recently received information from a citizen in the Birchgrove Dr. area of the city in regards to possible Cougar sightings. These sighting are alleged to have taken place over the past several weeks. The Ministry of Natural Resources has been notified and are to investigate further.

BREAK AND ENTERS

Over the past weekend thieves entered a shed at H & M Enterprises in the 2800 block of Highway 11 North.

They stole approximately $1500. worth of brass and scrap metal.

Overnight on the 9th of June thieves forced a gate lock to Plastitech on Venture Av. Once inside the compound they stole a 12’ United trailer, white in colour with a black frame and had Ont. licence # C6588M. There are no markings on the trailer itself and it contained various tools including a compressor, threading equipment along with pipes and fittings. The value of the trailer is $5000. and the contents are estimated at approximately $11,000.
