WEEKEND The North Bay Police Service answered 220 calls for service over the weekend. There were 17 arrests including Assaults, Breaches, and Intoxication.

The North Bay Police Service answered 220 calls for service over the weekend. There were 17 arrests including Assaults, Breaches, and Intoxication. Over night on Sunday several vehicles ended up in ditches, most had no damage and only had to be pulled out.

ASSAULT BODILY HARM
At 2:30 AM on the December 11, a verbal altercation took place between two males. One of them fell down because of his intoxicated state. The other male allegedly punched him while he was on the ground causing facial damage to the victim. Taylor Porter, 19 of New Liskeard, is charged with Assault Cause Bodily Harm. He is to appear in court January 25, 2011.

ROBBERY
On December 11 at 11pm a pizza delivery man attended the 111 Caruthers Complex to make a delivery when a male allegedly ran up to him, and punched him in the side of the face. The assailant yelled, “Get the pizza from him” and a second male came from behind him and swung a knife at the victim. The victim threw the pizza bag at the second assailant, and then ran back to his vehicle. The two assailants took the pizza bag and fled.

The first suspect is described as male, white, 6’, slim build, wearing blue jeans and a tan winter jacket with small squares pattern with a hood. The second suspect is described as a white male, 5’5”, slim build wearing a dark winter jacket with a hood ,blue jeans and a white bandana with a black design, covering his mouth and nose.
