ATTEMPTED ABDUCTION

On the 4th of August at approximately 10:30PM, the North Bay Police Service received a complaint of an alleged Parental Abduction from a local residence.
The mother had visitation with the young female child when she contravened the custody order and took the child from the father’s residence without any prior knowledge to him.
The North Bay Police Service and the Ontario Provincial Police did a tremendous job promptly and safely locating the child and the mother at the bus station in Huntsville.
The child is now safely back in the father’s care and the mother is in police custody awaiting a bail hearing.

THREATENS DEATH

On the 2nd of August at approximately 6:30PM, Cst. Alain Bedard of the North Bay Police Service arrested a male for allegedly making a gesture with his thumb sliding it across his throat and stating he is going to kill the victim.
This occurred at the intersection of Lakeshore Dr. and Marshall Park Dr.
Jeremie DREGER, 33 years old of Legion Dr. is charged with Threatening and will attend court at a later date.

TRAFFIC STOP

On the 3rd of August at approximately 9:30AM, Csts. Darcy Wall and Christian Elia of the North Bay Police Service conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of McIntyre St. E with 2 male occupants and allegedly found a quantity of Marijuana in the motor vehicle.
Christopher BALDWIN, 20 years old of Mountainview Rd in Redbridge is charged with Possession of Controlled Substance. He will attend court at a later date.
Russell JOLES, 20 years old of Carmichael Dr is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and will attend court at a later date.

ONE FOR BREAK AND ENTER

On the 3rd of August at approximately 10:00PM, Csts. Dave Wilson, Bruce Whitehead and Matthew Parker of the North Bay Police Service attended at residence for an alleged break and enter through the kitchen window.
A male was located inside the residence.
John SANTAROSSA, 50 years old of no fixed address is charged with Break and Enter X2 and is being held in custody for a bail hearing.
