Luring a Child
A North Bay Police investigation into a Mar 2013 complaint through a southern Ontario Police service has resulted in the arrest of a 38 yr old Nelson Ave man. He has been charged with luring a child under 18 for the purpose of facilitating the commission of sexual assault. It was alleged that between the 6th Nov 2011 and the 6th of Mar 2012 he had several sexually explicit computer conversations with a 15 yr old female and attempted to set up a meeting to effect a sexual purpose. He has been held in custody for a bail hearing. D/Cst Jason Long is investigating.
